Our criminal practice is longstanding. Michael has tried many serious felony cases, including eight murder cases. The firm seeks to protect the rights of the accused while upholding the highest ethical standards of our profession. We employ, where needed, investigative resources to help with critical fact-finding and seek to develop positive, collegial relationships with District Attorneys' offices and prosecutors.

Our criminal practice stretches throughout the region, though we typically take few criminal cases. Some of our criminal docket derives from instances where individuals claim to have been falsely charged and accused and wish to preserve civil rights claims. Vigorous criminal defense is required in such instances as pleas often can eviscerate constitutional rights.
